Regional Training Measure Investment Appraisal. April 20 – 24, 2009.

On April 20-24, 2009 in Istanbul (Turkey) the regional training measure investment appraisal was held in the frames of EU project “Strengthening of Transport Training Capacities in NIS countries”.

Training topics covered three main directions, in particular:
- Investments appraisal;
- Cost Benefit Analyses;
- Environmental Impact Assesments.

In the frames of afore topics directions participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with foreign experience of investments appraisal (EU, Germany, Greece, The Netherlands, Kazakhstan), share and discuss experience of countries they represent. The training materials were developed before the seminar and during the event the special explanatory sessions on methodological materials were held.

30 participants, representatives of higher educational establishments of project participant countries, took part in the seminar. As regards Ukraine, it was represented by representative of National Transport University and National Aviation University.
