simulation Seminar. March 17-19, 2009.
Between March 17 and 19, 2009 in Tbilisi (Georgia) in the frames of EU project on Strengthening transport training capacities for NIS countries the Seminar on Transport planning technique and tools – traffic forecasting and simulation was held.
About 30 representatives of project participant countries participated in the seminar, among which there were 2 representatives from Ukraine. The seminar and training held in three mail directions – transport planning, transport modeling, traffic forecast.
During three-days seminar the participants had an opportunity to know how training of the similar disciplines in the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece is held; discuss and participate in development of training plans on transport planning, traffic forecast and transport modeling; Regional Network Building, website development and e-learning; Case Study Road Access Alternatives; Case Study Suburban Railway; Organization of National Dissemination Seminars and Project Support; etc.
Logistics Platform is the local project coordinator for Ukraine and Moldova.
